Day 16/ 31 days of #toddlerartinvitations

Invitation to draw on paper with different types of markers. A very simple one today, perhaps too simple and might not have been very engaging in the least.

To switch things up a little and make it a little bit different to the usual, I used an A4 sized yellow paper and cut it into 4 smaller pieces. Sometimes all you need to make the same-old invitations interesting again is to present the same things differently.

Provide a really big canvas or in my case, 4 small canvases, though I probably could have gone a little smaller still. Additionally, you could also add a couple of extra tools for drawing. In this case, I added a ruler for my toddler to explore drawing with as she showed great interest in it when I used it to draw grid lines for day 11’s invitation. I honestly didn’t think drawing with a ruler would be so tricky for little hands! Click here to see the video for how she attempted to draw with the ruler.
