Day 15/ 31 days of #toddlerartinvitations
Invitation to paint and play around with shades of blue (my toddler’s favourite colour) using cotton wool balls pegged onto wooden pegs.
As with ALL other kinds of painting for my toddler, this quickly became finger painting and making handprints 😏.
But finger painting aside, I’m glad she noticed the different shades of blue that were offered in this invitation. See a video here where she commented that the colour she was using was the darkest.
By the way, just as a side note, I’ve had family visit this week and they’ll be here til Tuesday. They’ve been entertaining the baby for me while I am fully present to do activities with the toddler which explains why I’ve been taking the opportunity to do more invitations this week that requires close supervision, teaching and modeling of new techniques or engaging with new mediums. Once they leave, I will have to revert to invitations that require minimal supervision (which are my favourites to set up anyway 😝😉).
